What I did during my summer vacation.
I always wanted a dreamy bathroom. Not a spalike retreat. But, somewhere I can go and feel like I've been transported in time. Somewhere no one can find me. I am left to myself, with everything that is beautiful. I believe, to my standards, that I have done that. To start fresh, I painted Valspar's Baby Blush on top half of walls with vibrant white on beadboard bottom.
Refurbished a Craigslist find ($30 cabinet) in Valspar's
Chalkpaint white and replaced the glass panes in the doors with hexagon chicken wire. Changed the glass shelves out with wooden shelves.
Sink was completely disgusting. I had seen handpainted sinks for around $600, which was not in the budget. Decoupage and a little research from Pinterest and I found a way to waterproof it using clear shellac.
I absolutely LOVE my sink!
White spray paint and new blades ($4 on ebay) on the old lighting fixture.
